that resistor on the right with the multiplier looks sad...

Nighty-night, RFID tag...

nice setup, i like it. battery powered HV ftw

@Alex1M6 you would be better using igbt's, with gate drivers. I use hgtg40n60 and can get over two inch arcs at about eighteen volts. driven at 20khz.

Transistor is Horizontal output from older TV set since that transformer is Flyback. You can't use TIP 41 ...Best that will work on this set will be C2233 caps are 10nF 3Kv and there is Diodes 1N4007 in serial with those capacitors circuit caled Cascade.

wich capacitors did you use?

@bansku121 I'll leave the honor to you . Let us know how wild it feels ;)

@radumotisan errata: diodes in multiplier were 14KV 3mA fast recovery diodes, and not BYV26E .

@semko71 :))) . the transistor is actually TIP41C . The diodes can't be 1n4007, because that would be too slow for this high frequency circuit. What I used where BYV26E fast recovery diodes . Looks like you got a little lost here, but that's ok. Capacitors used: ceramic 10nF/6KV . Thanks for watching.

Nice job, what transistor/chip are you using to drive the circuit?

@Alex1M6 thanks, I think it was a TIP41C but you can use any medium power bipolar transistor.
