WHAT IS PIXELIBRIUM?
I consider Pixelibrium my magnum opus, and it is what most people know me for. Ironically, I have absolutely no rights to this because it's completely based off of Kurt Wimmer's Equilibrium, made in 2002. Nearly every camera angle is an exact replica of the camera shots used in Equilibrium. It's the exact audio as well. So, while I appreciate your comments saying this looks and sounds cinematic, it's because it is, and I take no credit for that. If anything, appreciate the time and work it took to make this, and enjoy (as I have) watching real life characters in stick figure form act out some (I think) awesome choreography, which, as I have stated, doesn't belong to me: It belongs to Mr. Wimmer.
This was released in two (technically three) sections, but it was never meant to be two films. However when I finally finished Hall of Mirrors sometime in May, I was so tired of animating that I released it and decided to give up on Pixelibrium. Roughly 5 months later, I returned to finish the job.
Now here they are, glued together as was always meant to be. In a way, it's actually 3 films in one: Hall of Mirrors, Ornate Room, and The Full Ending. I excluded the TV Room scene, as it takes away the effect of being a complete film.
Hall of Mirrors has been adjusted more than you as a viewer can probably see. The mug shot of Preston was obviously changed to match the new art style in part 2, but some backgrounds were also changed, and one shot was even completely redrawn (see if you can spot it)The final gun fight has also been re-edited for smoothness, some of the shots in the original came out choppy. Again, you probably won't notice, but I will.
This was also posted for the sake of comparing it to Pixelibrium - Rough Draft, which is the first original cut of Pixelibrium before I went back and redrew it entirely.
So, hope you guys enjoy seeing the movie as it was meant to be seen.
