Is this the narrator from Pendulum - Blood Sugar ??

it didn't seem to do jack squat for the traction, the truck was still going the same speed and the tire was still spinning.

wtf how did i end up here

thats' neat as hell! I'd want some on the outside of the car, for when I go past a crowd of emo's

I would think that flailing your tires with chains like that would cause some major tire damage
When installed correctly they will not do damage to the drive tire. The vehicle simply drives over the chain, this reduces the wear on the chain wheel and drive tire- one of the best features of RUD's automatic chain mounting. There are thousands of ROTOGRIP systems running from coast to coast and the product has been available in the USA for around 20 years.

The chains are driven by the drive line of the bus - so if you are on a hill - and your tires are not rolling, the chains are not doing anything.

@James92802 That is true, if your tires are not spinning the chain wheels are also not spinning.

@coolchains Means if you are trying to stop on an incline and it's icy. you are going to slide - I've tried this system - works fine except for stopping on a downhill. Only important if you have a car stop in front of you, a stop sign, a person in the street. Other than that one problem, they are great!

@James92802 That could happen if you locked up the tires, if you lock your tires you will slide no matter what. If you ease into the brakes and try not to lock up the tires the chains will give you the traction you need; apply the brakes lightly to allow the chains to do the job. ~Coolchains
