I have this phone, it has been superceded by other more powerful phones on the market, but this one is beautiful. I have this on Pay as you Go. I have a Blackberry Curve too, but I LOVE my LG Shine. It is a fantastic little piece of kit, looks expensive, the stainless steel finish and mirror front are superb. As far as I know, this phone has been discontinued in the UK now, obviously because of other, 'better' models'. But I feel the LG Shine holds its own.

That shine is old. the new one is on the AT&T website. Its called LG Shine Cu720

I was holding it close but it also depends on the ringtone with lots of phones.
I have a great ringtone on my Nokia E61i but it just doesn't penetrate a noisy room unfortunately.

i so want this phone! but i dont think its out in canada yet.. cant find it anywhere. The flip one is out but i like this one way better! awesome ringtones ;)

I have the 3G one now... :))) Haven't used it much as I take my trusty E61i pretty much everywhere. If you don't have a girlfriend, get the LG Shine, if you do and she doesn't get wierd about it the E61i is wicked.... Not really an answer but its still true.

Hey Fellow Canuck, I hear your pain over here in the UK its no prob getting slick phones but its not that way in Canada.. :(
You could of course buy one off eBay??? I have bought more than afew that way and its worth it (for me) most times.
