How to unlock all Spartan armour permutations on HALO 3

i have changed the comments settings so that now it allow comments automatically, thank you very much to every one that has posted on the video, iam glad i have been able to help so many of you in getting the armour sets that you want. :)

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Recon is not part of the video because at the time the video was published it was not possible to obtain recon in any other way then by impressing bungie / winning a comp / or actually working for bungie

In order to unlock any armour that requires a gamerscore all the points must come from halo 3 (NOTHING ELSE) and using the original achievements that shipped with the game not the ones added via TU2 (title update 2)
It is important that after completing a task required to unlock an achievement that you do not disconnect prematurely, doing so may result in your achievement not being unlocked

After TU2 a glitch in the game appeared that allows you to unlock certain armour with out having to for fill all requirements, this glitch has no set pattern and has come about because of every one being individual and playing the game differently e.g. never playing campaign and having a high rating online or vice versa. The only real problem with this is that the glitched armour has a tendency to lock its self back up so dont count on it, just push on and try to earn all achievment points to unlock armour as all ready described.

it seems some people are having trouble with the Spatan Officer achievment to obtain the Rouge helmet, you now have to get promoted to Lieutenant in 1 ranked playlist, not overall. Once you become a Spartan Officer in that playlist, you get the achievement and the helmet
