CHAPTER 45
October's POV
"I'm here, what do you want to show me?" I asked, tiredly.
"You came." Nick stated a bit surprised. "I thought you weren't goi-"
"I wasn't at first." I shrugged. Nick, visibly upset about me cutting him off, nodded slowly.
"Well, I'm glad you did," he smiled nervously, eyeing the floor.
"Uhm so the reason I asked you to come is, uhm, I want to play something for you."

This was the first time I had ever experienced Nick having trouble getting his point across and in some way I kind of liked it, it showed me that he was actually human, but what annoyed me, was the fact that he thinks a song is going to make it all better!

"Nick, a song isn't going to make this go away!" I spat irritated.
"I know that. That's way there's an apology attached to the song." He explained. I crossed my arms, this I had to hear!

"I'm sorry, for brushing, people hating you, off like it was nothing. Sometimes I forget, that this is new to you and that you aren't used to people refusing to serve you at coffee shops because of me. I know that being with me is not always easy, especially now. That's why I had my dad release this statement."
He said, handing me a piece of paper. Reluctantly I took it.

A few weeks ago, I shared some great news with the world and a lot of you have been very supportive and happy for me and October, however there have also been some people who have purposely tried to hurt her, by calling her names, spitting at her, talked about her and etc. and frankly it has got to stop. No person in the world deserves such a treatment, and especially not October. In fact saying you don't like her is like saying you don't like me, because she is, and always will be, the best part of me.

Nick had stayed quiet while I read, watching my reaction intensely.
"That was really sweet Nick," I said, smiling weakly.
"Here sit down," he said more confidently now, guiding me to a chair. He grabbed his guitar and started strumming away.

"Wow," I mumbled to myself. Wait, why was I mad at him?
"I love you with all my heart, I love you for loving me for who I am." Nick said shyly. I rose to my feet and walked to him.
"That was really corny." I said smilingly. He lay the guitar down next to him.
"Good corny?" He asked.
"Great corny." I answered, seconds before connecting our lips in a quick, sweet kiss.
"And, just like that, we have our Cute couple status back!" I said, making Nick bust out in laughter.
