@jharker45 , One of the reasons I hate Christmas. It's the same songs every year...and the same artists!
-
@esculabial , Yes indeed, his face and name credit is on their Spring Session M album. One might think he was just playin' that music to get in the biz, but Missing Person's made good rock/pop music. And there are many musicians that enjoy normal music as well as the wild stuff.
This track was used in a gay porn film by Catalina/Channel 1 Releasing without Patrick's permission probably. He and his record company should sue them.

I heard of Missing Persons while getting interested in Bozzio's projects. I didn't know O'Hearn was involved as well in this pop project. Thanks for letting me know.

@esculabial , How could you forget the rock band he was in -- MISSING PERSONS?

Patrick O'Hearn's music is the perfect antidote when suffering from an overdose of cheesy sickly-sweet Christmas music. I lost all my O'Hearn CDs in a move so God bless you for posting his music here.

@nicklakeshore i myself actually have the full album on vinyl and i remember hearing this song on a tape my parents recorded from the radio back in the 80's and the copy sorta devoliped a dropout spot sorta so once i found the album which i felt is rare to find i had to get it. its like i wonder what this is and i played it and i was like omg i have to get this. this song is a favorite. someone might do a copy of this song sometime.

@esculabial I actually have Group 87 "A Career In DADA Processing", nice to hear someone else mention them.

Patrick O'Hearn proved to be a very talented composer once he stepped into the world of ambient music (he was previously in jazz-rock acts, first with Zappa then Group 87).
