  • What fun to hear! Thanks so much for sharing with us all.

  • Lesley! How are you and where have you been! Haven't heard from you in a long time.

  • Wow, Tucker sounds quite suave here! ha ha :D

He surprised me with that falsetto(?) bit at the end- never heard him do that, beautiful!

    Fantastic

  • There was also kind of a piano finish to his "Vienna, My City of Dreams" which is posted elsewhere on YouTube.

  • Thank you VERY much for sharing this selection by a GREAT artist on an OUTSTANDING album!!!! Sounds fantastic!! And I like Skitch Henderson's discreet piano touches in the background, too.

  • Sony has a still-available CD titled, "Hatikvah!: Richard Tucker Sings Great Jewish Favorites," which I have and which has the Exodus Song and the Anniversary Waltz on it, and also his beautiful rendition of "Sunrise, Sunset," among other songs. It's inexpensive at Amazon.

  • great song

  • He could sing, that's for sure.

  • This is great stereo performance!

  • Beautiful song for a beautiful voice. Thank you for sharing.

  • He did not do Diminuendo's later but did early on a few occasions. Here he does a beautiful last note--- Piano. His diction was always good in any language he sang in.

  • Beautiful , thanks

  • Yes I agree with you Vinyl-- this was his best pop recording, the later one was done when he was older and darker in voice. Here he is in his late 40's and sounds younger and the selections are better also.

  • Yes but that only has 5 of 24 recordings from his two pop albums. They should at least release this one in its entirety; the other album wasn't as good.

  • Thanks, I'll listen.
