Also it their a manual zoom/focus option?

I haven't seen too much information on how the camera shoots stills with low light. What's your experience? I'm still hoping to get this camera for Christmas. Come on Santa!

shopcartusa, meh, I wouldn't risk sending my money to those guys. I'd rather pay a couple hundred dollars more and know I would get a camera than risk getting 663 swindled from me. I read quite a few bad stories about shoptcartusa.

I believe the video format is MPEG. The interface cable is a USB. I am sure you could also pop the memory card into a card reader too. I'm sure it would work with a Mac.

Cool video. Man I'd love to live on a farm - looks like fun.

Yeah it's not actually my place, my best friends', no farm but decent amount of land, unlike where I live, Chicago suburbs lol... But the potential to do just about anything is there :)

Regarding the shutter speed and high speed video, someone told me that in high speed video mode, the camera forces the shutter speed to be the same as the frame rate. That doesn't sound right to me, as it would result in a lot of motion blur of fast moving subjects. Can you adjust the shutter speed during high speed video mode?

I saw one video from a guy with this camera who actually captured a 9mm bullet traveling through the air. He set his to 1/40000 and 1200 fps. "Shooting a steel plate in slo-mo"
I think the best shots with this camera in slo mo is in bright daylight.

I can't emphasize enough how shooting in daylight is THE single most important element in using the EX-F1's High-Speed recording mode. Don't ever expect to get anything even remotely respectable shooting in High-Speed while indoors, unless you have a ridiculous light setup.

Unfortunately, you can't change the shutter speed during High-Speed recording.
