Peron knew what was right for Argentina and he has been smeared in Western history books as a fascist who supported Hitler and Mussolini. The cold, hard truth is that he DID admire the success of nationalist/fascist movements in Europe... but you have to remember the era in which this was going on.
Their was leftist socialism/communism... decadent oligarchical capitalism... or a nationalist form of state capitalism with socialist reforms (basically national socialism).
