Mario + Animal Cruelty?

Seeing as it's 6am, I really don't want to write anything else about this. The bottom line is that it's nice and all that PETA wants to get attention for their cause- but it's not nice that they're willing to harm the name of a remarkably innocent company -Nintendo- to do that. Not to mention, the attention they get for doing stuff like this is *not* going to be positive attention, so I just don't understand in general.

PETA is an organization I probably would support... If they weren't so freaking insane.

In other news, Super Mario 3D Land is really good so far (I haven't had a whole lot of time to play it yet, still have a few worlds to go).

In other other news, that coffee has long since worn off and I am super sleepies.

i agree. PETA is kind of dumb in this one case. Mario just touches a leaf and gets a COSTUME of a "tanooki". While you talked, i played a little of the game with the tanooki suit and also thought it was just a way of getting attention. Mario never really killed anything. If you look at Bowser (or Koopa) he keeps coming back over and over and over again.

I am already a vegetarian (I eat anything besides meat or fish) so I am completely with you and I do absolutely no harm to animals. I love animals. I have a cat, a dog, a gerbil, (which my cat likes to stare at, hint hint,) and I plan on having an axolotl when I am older. Man, I just think they are so cute! Anyways, I have always gone with protecting animals but obviously PeTA doesn't care about nature anymore, just attracting unruly attention to an insulting videogame about innocent Super Mario
