  • "it didn't say a damn thing on the bag about a primer" ... um should have been figured out way before you started to pour. If it was Ardex is should have been primed.

  • @DaemonEA You always use a primer with levelers. Ask the local sales rep about the products. If he doesn't know ask who the manufacturers rep is. PS. the blue color of the floor is from the primer.

  • @superchargedM90 It was Mapei UltraPlan or NovoPlan, I forget which. I bought it at Lowes or Home Depot. It was about $50 for a 50 pound bag. I wasn't sure how much I needed and ended up doing multiple pours. I think multiple pours are okay according to Mapei. I mixed it in a 5 gallon bucket with a powerful right angle drill. It smoked my regular drill mixer.

  • @Alvord1430 what the name of the product?

  • I used this same product to level a bathroom I remodeled in my home. This stuff is awesome. It makes a super level smooth surface after it drys.
