http://www.invodo.com/ EMG's MM Music Man Bass guitar Pickup has been directly replaced with the new MMCS. The new dual-coil pickup has wide bobbins and a large coil surface for an amazing bass tone.
@1230hagen I just checked the website, and Bare knuckles does not make a musicman bass model. They make a P and J bass model as well as guitar models, but no MM bass model so I don't understand how that information you are giving is helpful.
In all honesty, I've tried out about 20 different pairs of EMGs in the same guitar and they sound good, but if you want REALLY good tone, go with a pair of Bare Knuckle Pickups. Bare Knuckles are about 40 dollars more but they are ridiculously better.
Should be getting my new MMTW 4 in the mail soon, nobody has any reviews or is using this pickup? Its kinda a weird feeling buying a pickup online, never hearing it, but I trust these guys at EMG. next step is the gig-fx sub bass wah...
