I'm part of the choir doing this at the College of DuPage in May. Part of the tragedy here is that Jenkins' recording of the piece was released for sale on September 10, 2001. And I remember this day, also. Sitting in band practice in high school, just watching the monitors, seeing the towers fall...I have a picture I took in 1999 from the ferry, showing the towers and the Statue of Liberty...never thought it would be so poignant.

I remember this day. I was ill the day it happend and was at my grandparents for the day. I remember sitting in an arm chair watching the whole event unflod. The music makes ever so more terrifying and sad.
I will never forget this day!!!

Very Well Done, The music is suiting.
This was a very sad, and painful day for America, and it should always be remembered.
