Why do ppl hate American cars so much? I think the zr1 is a beautifully built and a damn good lookin car. It keeps up with super cars for a fraction of the price. Who couldn't appreciate that? If not your just an idiot with too much money

Corvette; looks good, sounds good, simple, fast, durable, and relatively inexpensive...

Lamborghini, Ferrari, Jaguar, Mercedes, Aston Martin, etc. : look like they belong to hairdressers, sound like mad bumblebees going down the road, complicated, spend half their lives in the shop, and cost more than your house...

Another interesting fact... (if you think Americans are behind in car tech)

people like to brag about the Bugatti Veyron. 8 liter, W16 with quad turbos. 1000hp with a top speed of 267mph...

GM did that 2 decades ago with the 87 Oldsmobile Aerotech. 2 Liter, single turbo, Inline 4 with 900hp. 267mph closed course average (actually, AJ Foyt was hitting 290mph in the straightaways...)

ZR1 owners don't give an absolute fuck about the plastic. They buy it because for 100k, you can't get any better than this in terms of performance.

I went from Nurnburg to Vicenza in a rental van and that was pretty fun. I couldnt even be able to fathom how cool it would be in a ZR1
