Since the VW was never made available and never sold, and existed only in the lab, that makes this the first boxer diesel.
Who cares anyway diesels are all bags of soot pumping crap, sent to annoy petrol drivers.

Its not the worlds first boxer diesel. In 1951 volkswagen prototyped a 1.3L N/A boxer diesel in their beetle which is designed to take passengers, although the engine was never made available to the people.

Is Kenneth Brannagh doing the voiceover for this? Sounds like it. I don't think the music here is a song. Think it's most likely to be music specifically composed for this ad.
