I agree with George Carlin when he was talking about how dumb these "re-enactments" are and how they should use real ammunition if they are so concerned about authenticity.
WHY DO YALL THINK WE REENACTORS ARE NERDS >:(!!! we live normal popular lifes and stuff! we arent fat and we kinda hate mcdonalds! most of us dont play nerdy games and all that! heck,im popular at my school and im in civil war battles! why? because im southern, play banjo and i love the war its self basicly! only way in the US!!!!
This really does remind me of reenactments. I remember when, during the reenactments of the Revolutionary War, the French General Staff showed up...sort of like the two Lincolns. Then of course, there was the Battle of Grenada Highlands, where a Union Cavalry soldier showed up in line with a group of advancing British Grenadiers - sort of like the space people. Very Well done!
We simulate the glory of the men who could not be here today.
Jay Johnston's inappropriate emotion is the best thing about this skit, except the straight-faced officer who tries to negotiate between "the civil war chums, the medieval folks, and the space people."

I'd like a Civil War Reenactment Chess Set - anyone know the number to call?
