Global Peace Initiative of Women - Jaipur 2008 - part 2 | Amma

Amma addressed a gathering of women religious and spiritual leaders at a summit in Jaipur on March 7th 2008: Making Way for the Feminine for the Benefit of the World Community. The event was organized by the Global Peace Initiative of Women. In this heartfelt address, The Infinite Potential of Women, Amma focused on the deterioration of love and mutual respect between men and women. Pointing to specific problems and offering insightful solutions, Amma offers her vision of a world where men and women stop competing with one another and begin climbing, hand-in-hand, to material and spiritual heights. The meeting was convened by Dena Merriam and co-chaired by Rev. Dr. Joan Brown Campbell and Sister Joan Chittister.
