But i guess it will be around : treble - 5 or 6 Bass : 4 Middle 6/7 reverb 6 presence 5

Can i ask the uploader, have you ever had any problems with this amp? i got mine about a year and a half ago and i love it, its my fave! ive not played it in a cupple of months as theres not enough room in my house for it, got it out and plugged it in to have a jam and nothing, the light didnt come on and no sound at all, i dont think anything is broken inside, so i have a hunch it might be a connection issue, have you ever had any smiler problems or could shed some light on my issue? cheers

No comparison buddy. I've tried both side by side and the 15w Jr just doesn't deliver the full meat of the tone on individual notes, it just sounds too brittle when compared side by side with the 40 watt deluxe, ESPECIALLY as you go higher and higher in volume. At the moment i'm saving up for the Deluxe since i need and all tube amp that won't make me live on Ramen noodles for 6 months : ) and i think i just won't find anything better for the price

Hey man, I have the sam amp, I find those amps to sound good only if you play them LOUD, then they start to sound warm and nice, at living room levels it sounds cold and harsh... IMO

Really nice playing. Good match for the Tele. Personally, I would take a tad less reverb and a bit more bass, but that's just my old ears.

I have the hot rod deluxe 3, and I am very happy with it, cleans are jangle as fck, but I am in two minds weather to get a deluxe reverb, not sure its a better amp thou, if I got a good price for mine as its 4 weeks old, never been gigged, bedroom use only, ? i DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, WOULD LOVE A dr

@uberhippie666 I would hope in 2 months you got it figured out, but I figure better late on a suggestion than never. One thing could be your standby switch was still on, or maybe it was in the second channel and your master or gain was at 0 leaving all noise out. Just a thought, good luck if you haven't already got it taken care of.

LOVE IT! Why on the back though does it say "180W"? These are 40 Watt amps right? Maybe i am reading something wrong
