...what is different about talking to kids about how they can learn, rather than giving them a new stigma, which they don't understand, and leaves them oblivious to how to improve, gain new skills or appreciate their talents which
develope from social adaptations or mind contructs...

Dr. Mel Levine, a learning expert and author of the book A Mind at a Time, on Oprah Winfrey show gave some good ideas for parents and educators to help children learn better

1. Be realistic and don't target to educate a "well-rounded child" — to be good at everything because it will give a lot of pressure on our children. "No adult can do this, so we shouldn't expect it for our children."

2. Figure out what strengths your child has and develop those strengths. Every child has a different learning style.

3. Build them up with success. "Success is like a vitamin," Dr. Levine says. "If you don't get enough of it growing up, you'll suffer a very severe deficiency that could have long-term impacts in your life."

4. Pay attention to those areas your child may have problem, like sound differentiating, motor skills lapses, or information processing.
