As the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said in various narrations, innovations will become widespread. Many groups have added new things to the religion that Allaah, subhaanahu wa ta'ala, did not legislate. In following the best generations of mankind, the Salaf, it is upon us to make clear the truth from the falsehood. Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (d.728H) - rahimahullaah - said, "Ordering with the Sunnah and prohibiting from the innovation is ordering the good and prohibiting from the evil.
