Stanford's autonomous, self-driving car, dubbed Shelley, held a press conference with representatives from several news networks including Fox and CBS. Shelley did her talking on the track, turning laps on the grass at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds in San Jose.

    Why did you see the need to yell? Would you do that in a normal social situation away from the pc and the internet? No. Stop yelling, it makes you look really stupid.

  • PEOPLE WILL STILL NEED DRIVERS LICENSES TO TAKE OVER JUST IN CASE PROBABLY MORE POLITICAL ISSUE THAN FUNCTIONAL ONE BUT STILL! NO BLIND PERSON OR BABY IS RIDING IN THE CAR ALONE SORRY!

  • ... and the designers are confident enough now in their systems to carry passengers in the car, under autonomous control, at those speeds.
