Anhinda Bird

Anhinga Bird before this day I hadn't ever seen one filming just wondering around and there she was yes it a female the male have black heads.
The anhinga spears his prey with his arrow like beak and sometimes the thrust is so powerful that he has to swim to shore and rub his oprey off his beak on a rock.
Length: 28 inches Wingspan: 47 inches.
Large, dark waterbird with long, loosely-jointed tail.
Very long, thin neck.
Long, pointed bill.
Often perches with wings spread to dry them.
Often swims with just head and neck above surface.

Dee, they will hold out there wings in the sun to dry them off. I'm a birdwatcher, but I love to observe behavior, so this bird is really of great interest to me. Maybe one day I'll get to see one. :)
