  • we actually have an event for this in my hometown. its called a motor blow - drain all the oil and place bets on how long before the motor blows! haha

  • @OsmiumVIII After many years of scientific research and heavy drinking we have figured that leaving the oil and water in them makes them last much longer and allows them to "diesel" on their own lube..... get the revs back up and then pop..... the "no oil" ones tend to slow and cease gently at low revs as do the non water cooled engines..... let em pop naturally and.....

     it builds more suspense!!

  • @a1lange Interesting. How long do the ones with oil and water last at full throttle?

  • @racefactory900 i think this one lasted about 8 mins.... some will go for 20mins which to be fair does get a bit boring but if this happens at the end it makes up for it!!!

  • @a1lange What is the actual failure usually? Connecting rod snapping and blowing through?

  • @racefactory900 yep.... generally

  • @mushroomman123456789 No, burning oil from the crankcase.

  • Holy shit was that molten metal dripping out of it??

  • i like it

  • Sudden increase due to three things. 1) Piston rings go - less friction on sides of cylinder and piston. 2) Oil begins to burn - dieseling = more power. 3)Although oil lubricates and cools metal parts, it needs to be pumped and splashed - no oil, less load on engine. Combine all three and RPM increase until rod snaps, head blows, or some other cool thing happens.

  • Why do you get the sudden increase in rpm's before it blows?

  • @CourtJester7289 OMG LMAO

  • Sounds like the angry birds are in the background cheering XD

  • 7/10

Not Spielberg quality, but better than Shyamalan.

  • For this things US need a lot of petrol?

  • Sweeeeeeeeeeeet
