One of the best experiences regarding sound and imagery I have ever seen. This movie, along with the orchestra is a masterpiece of communication, and Vertov succeeded in capturing and immortalizing the society back then. Moreover he succeeded in communicating so much more than just images, he caught on camera glimpses of the human state of mind and spirit. Absolutely magnificent. This is a movie that no self-respecting man should miss.

@digsfbv Couldn't agree with you more. Vertov was a man so ahead of his time. His work has certainly influenced mine and I would die a happy man if I were but a fraction of the filmmaker he was. I'm reading Kino Eye at the moment. It contains all the writings of Dziga vertov. You should look it up, it didn't cost me that much.

do you know any other bands that do music in the same style as cinematic orchestra. I'm getting kinda depressed now, since I discovered them nothing else seems to be as good...
