I have purchased one piece cranks twice, and both times I got them from standard bike shops. I'm sure many bike shops keep them in stock, and if they don't they will definitely be able to order them. The price should be $15-20 brand new. I hope this answer is helpful and you are able to resolve your bike problem.

Can you put a 3 peice crank on a bike that origionly had a 1 peice crank

@DjPixma21435 As I explained in the video, the hole in the frame where the bottom bracket goes is alot smaller on 3 piece crank bikes than on 1 piece crank bikes. I've never seen it done before, but I've heard that there are special adapter kits that you can get which will allow you to put a 3 piece crank on a one piece crank bike.

But why would you want to? One piece cranks are awesome!

Hello! Very informative tutorial. I'm repairing an old bmx at the moment with a one piece crank but one of the arms is bent and I need to replace it with a new one piece crank. The problem I have is how to remove the arms from the sprockets to fit a new arm onto the system - any ideas? Thanks.

@joadt If I understand your question correctly, you are looking for advice on how to remove the chain rings from your old one piece crank, to put them onto your new one piece crank. I have never done that job, but from what I understand, the chain rings are held to the crank by the threaded cone on the drive-side. The cone has notches in the outside which you'll need a special hook tool to get a good grip on. I believe this is the same tool used to remove the lock-ring on regular bottom brackets
