Here is the first half - its so long it had to be split in two! Recorded in June, 1968 at the start of the White Album sessions! John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and...Yoko Ono! Video from Mad Day Out Photo session in July, recording in Abbey Road in July, John at Kenwood in June and Revolution video from September of 1968...... Enjoy!

  • I got the White Album bought new in 1968.

  • 6 people used to like good music, but then they took an arrow to the knee

  • can't we just get the god damn session without all the intercutting?

  • @pajaroloqo don't worry man, peopel 're stupid :/

  • prefiero la otra vercion

  • @drumdog024 Actually, you are wrong. In fact, the flip side of the single "revolution" was Hey Jude".. which was 7 mins long...and went on to be the biggest selling single ever released by the Beatles...while you are right about this being the original version, It was never intended to be a single release. Your claim about it being too long is just what you heard, but at that point, nobody told the Beatles what they could, or couldnt release as a single.

  • I like this GROOVY version. BEATLES will live on FOREVER !!!

  • Revolution 1 is the original version. It was recorded for the White album. John wanted it released as a single but EMI said no because it was too long for airplay at that time. Almost all songs on the radio in the 1960's were between 2 - 3 minutes long. So the Beatles went back into the studio and recorded the single version. Because John was a little pissed off, they recorded the new version with a faster tempo, distorted guitars, and angrier vocals. The chords are the same.
