Yes, there is definitely backing vocals during the choruses...However, Adam is still singing himself the entire song. A lot of the time people play a backing track for choruses just to add depth and fullness, which seems to be the point for this. Technically, he's too strong a vocalist to need to use backing tracks to "lean on". Come on, guys. To those of you (clearly without a musical ear) saying he "can't" be this good -- listen. He IS this good. :)

Then explain how his mouth moves exactly with the words and riffs, sounds N o t h i n g like it does on the cd, and adds different riffs/notes each time he performs it. You're just upset that he's a performer who can actually sing, unlike the other 99% of today's music "stars"
