Nice CHSJ legal to start. Spent my summers... in extreme Eastern Maine... only stations that came in on rabbit ears... CHSJ-TV 4.. now CBAT and ATV channel 9.. now known as CTV Atlantic... Thanks for this.

The early reviews were nothing short of brutal. CBC's ratings plummeted; CTV's soared.
On January 31, 1994, the Prime Time News was divided into a news portion and a magazine portion. PTN moved back to the 10 p.m. time slot on September 6, 1994. Pamela Wallace was fired in early April 1995 (she resurfaced on Newsworld later in the year). On September 5, 1995, the CBC renamed PTN "The National" and installed Hana Gartner as anchor of the magazine portion.
