okokok, I know everyone who is ragging on this video is well beyond 'hard core,' good for you. I mean yeah, it wasn't fast paced to say the least, and I like many could ride that faster, but really it's just a bunch of guys having fun on bikes. How much better could it get? Their seats are high and I think I saw a max of 5 inches of travel but whatever, I rather be on an over raised seat then on my swivel chair in front of the computer any day. Great video guy's. Ride on.

i don't know if you'll really have that much fun on a norco manik. look at something like the sx trail (specialized) I mean- it depends if you want to spend your time equally going up, across and down- your gonna want something lighter then 35 lbs so that it's not a bitch to pedal- with lock out forks.
but if your going to shuttle- or just pedal up to get the thrill of flowy DH- you gotta get a dual. ( i ride a randsome -with lock out. it's perfect)

@plorwax that would be a pretty good bike for this type of thing.

Didn't realize what you meant till i rode the cbc this weekend, thsi trail should be mandatory full face and armor, its like one big circus act. These videos of the cbc don't do justice, the trail is insane, very risky for a good rider, i wonder how many people get carried out on a stretcher.

can someone tell me what shore-trails are like? Im looking to get a norco manik and its intended use is Shore-trails but its also good with light freeride. I think shore trails would probably have drops and stuff like that

how big of an issue is it?

I hate seeing idiots like this wearing road helmets instead of full face, then posting a video setting a bad example for others wanting to try the sport

It's harder than Crank It Up and more technical than Dirt Merchant.
If you like woodwork and tight steep rocky rooty descents then this trail will be right up your street. Hoping to go there again next month and ride faster than we did last time!
