In this video, the late John Wimber explains the first step in the process of becoming a radical disciple for Christ. John Wimber 's death is not documented by any disease ending his life. Shows how much you think you know. His death was accidental. A fall in the bathroom and hitting his head. How pathetic some of you sound. And to say God gave cancer? My Lord ... disease is due to the fall. God does not put disease and illnesses on anyone anymore than He forces His will on them. Ignorance is a sad thing.

@hobbit14590 I think it's hard to make such solid statements about what God will or won't ever do. That's where our own presuppositions cancel out what Scripture says. With our own preferences we can attempt to mold God into our image. I'm not saying that I know it all when it comes to the subject of sickness and if God gives or doesn't give it but read Revelation 2:20-23 and then read your statement again. I say this in love and not t divide. I'm not the spiritual watchdog of the body.

@hobbit14590 I believe God did what he needed in John his will was done, why do we expect so much more , it is all of us who need to answer the call, do you want to be chosen, say yes, make your legacy, we are to go out into the nations and spread the gospel, yes not ram it down their throats, but share, plant a seed, then the holy spirit will do its work, God is waiting on us to be obedient in our christianity, if we say we are followers then we need to follow like jesus followed his father.

@WibbleMcWibble God did not give him cancer in the first place, God does not give people illnesses and diseases in any shape or form.
Well that's your opinion and you're entitled to it.
I happen to belive that God does exist and He has changed my life and is continually changing me for the better.
If people want to know more about God then that's fine, I'm happy to talk about it but I'm not about to force my faith down people's throats.

@hobbit14590 Then why didn't God simply not give him cancer? Oh, I know. It's because God doesn't exist.

John Wimber, a fantastic teacher and apostle, a inspiration to many. A shame that cancer took him before I believe God's job for him was done.

John Wimber, a man with a river of life coming out of his mouth whenever he speaks. Just like Jesus.
