HeadHardHat, host of GeoSnippits was asked to speak at the Cachercon 2010 geocaching event in Troy, Michigan. His subject was Geocaching in the Media (The Good, The Bad and The Ugly) and was one of the best received and discussed presentations at Cachercon 2010. Awesome job Andy...You should come up to N.W.Ontario Canada fishing and i could set you up to put on one of your presentations....geocaching is getting popular here and you seem to have an easy way about you that makes people listen to what you have to say on this obsession of ours....lol. Letsse what I can come up with from Norway:

Positive:

Geocaching was mentioned on TV as a gameshow partisipant was a cacher...

I was interviewed by my local newspaper...

Bad:

Several bomb scares in the capital, but here the media tells the true story about geocaching, and also posts a snapshot from the geocaching Google map to show that you might need to think twice before calling the bomb squad just because someone wrote somthing on a piece of paper and placed that little scary container...
