  • I bumped into Lenny in 1972, at the corner of Yonge and Bloor, & I think it was Reg Kelln with him-I was visiting T.O. to scope out work, and Lenny bought my friend & I a sandwich, and we talked for an hour about almost anything BUT guitar, briefly touching on influences, etc. He introduced himself thus: "Hi, I'm Lenny Breau, the guitar player. I love to meet musicians, man. Sorry, I don't have my thumbpick." Inventory and declaration in one sentence. Interesting. Humble. Thoughtful.

  • Fantastic they've made a play about the immortal Lenny Breau, one of the greatest artists of all time! a man of great substance (in both senses of the word LOL!) How about a big scale production of Lenny? maybe casting Johnny Depp perhaps? I mean the guy doesn't look like Lenny Breau, he is Lenny Breau!

  • Who would you get to do the guitar parts? NOBODY can play like Lenny. He was sui generis.

  • I was able to go see it yesterday, it was amazing. Pierre Brault does a wonderful job.

  • I was at the opening night of the play in Ottawa and this was my first introduction to Lenny Breau. What an amazing play on such a sad life that Lenny experienced.

  • Wow.....i cant wait to see it!!! great job, thank you!
