nice detailed videos, but I felt cheated not getting to hear the guitar at the end.

@pabarge I don't care about reading it, i like to see what's happening.

I'd like to see a series on replacing the humbuckers with P90s on a Gibson ES-335.

Buy the man's book. He tells you all about it.

Not too crazy about cutting the p/u leads to fit, but thank you for the video!

@ShaggyDawg you can certainly leave the lead wires on the pickups longer but if you stuff the extra in the control cavity and they are the vintage style braided shield wire youll need to make sure the shield doesn't touch any of the hot part of the circuit or it will short out the signal. I normally loop it up and leave the extra under the pickups if I am going to be taking the pickups back out- for permanant installation that I get paid to do I cut them.

60 cycle is what single coils sense and 120 cycle all pickups sense and thats what shielding helps take care of.

Hey man, awesome video... very informative, and clear cut. One thing, though. I know you may already know this, but it's 60 cycle hum that guitars pick up, not 120. Other than that, rock on!

You should show us how you wind your pickups, as in PAF.
