  • @smoberley Great thanks for sharing. Cant wait to get mine ready for spring time! How do you like the Calvert setup for the street? I've heard mixed reviews on street use for the monoleaf's etc...

  • @smoberley Sorry, that's "non lock-up" trans not, OD. The trans was never overdrive. Whoops.

  • @MrKraegel The trans is a later model converted back to non-OD. Basically its got the later planetaries and low gear set, new clutches, bands, and the other recommended upgrades from A&A. I used the magnum flexplate and a neutral balance converter to get the balance right. I did have to do a 5 second file on one hole on the flexplate to get it to mate to the converter. No issues.

  • @SteveMoberley1 NICE!! That's going fast on Mopar chump change! Thanks for replying...hey, how did you set up your trans? What convertor/flexplate combo so it was balanced correctly and no vibrations?

  • @MrKraegel Thanks for looking. It's a 5.9 Magnum engine, 80K miles, shortblock is straight out of the junkyard. Cam is comp cams custom hydraulic roller. Hughes Iron Ram heads with 1.9 valves. Hooker Comp headers into 2.5 X pipe. 904 trans is built with A&A brake. Suspension is Calvert shocks, mono leafs and Cal-tracs.8" slicks. Car is all steel and weighs 3400. I added a 750 Quickfuel and ran 11.70 @ 113.3. Before Quickfuel carb, I had $2500 in the engine air cleaner to pan.

  • Hey looking to set my Duster up pretty much like your Dart! Can you give me a little more info on your engine/trans combo? Suspension setup? Thanks! How made your cam?

  • Nice! Cant beat classic Mopar!

  • Dart was quick wonder what it was running? I had one long ago.
