imo is that,if you playing and use the swivel technique,then axis is a lost money.if you playing and use heal-toe then axis is the best pedal for it.so imo again,i think you should try heal-toe instead of swivel :) also tell me what snare you have.

"Triggers do not make you faster on the drums, but practicing double bass will.
A vocalist can sing a lot better if he can hear himself sing, and drummers can play a lot better if they can hear themselves.
but with metal you have so many sound sources competing with one another, regarding volume, that eventually when you get the kicks going faster, their sound just gets lost in the mix, Also, at certain speeds, it becomes hard for the drummer to determine were the actual hits are being played."
