So I got a request LONG LONG time ago after i posted the video "Broadway Nails: BrushOn Gel Nail Kit Review ":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtpnRsioO-8

Since i recorded that video, i had gotten LOADS of questions on application and if it really is that easy...YES IT IS...But since then, ive found other favorites ---

Anyway, Finally, i went out and got myself a new kit to use and show you all....The only thing though is that i "cheated" and used "Kiss: Spray Gel Activator" then of course i did show you all with my thumb how to use the gel activator in the kit...

Hope you all enjoy - and any questions, please feel free to ask! :)

  • Do you prefer these over acrylics done in the actual nail salon?

  • @emheartsmakeup9 well, probably not - the set does not include a nail dehydrator nor any other extra products that would be needed to be completely 100% professional...However, for nails done at home, this set is A-OK. :)

  • How long did they last?

  • @Kaykay7435 Hi! Well...around 6 days - i accidentally jammed my index finger between a door - so that one broke off...However I dont recommend to have them longer than a week as your nails do grow and there would be a "dent" between the cuticle and the artificial nail.

  • This product sucked and made me really sad and i paid $11.23 for it.I had the same problem and it didnt dry.Plus the box makes you think the entire 2 sets are french tipped but it was only one set of the ugly natural looking nails and one set of french.Im returning it i refuse to pay extra money for the kiss spray :(

  • @libbylu111 it's a shame that the product did not work for you, I never meant to misslead however, it worked well for me and felt that the Kiss spray was just an easier product to use than the bottle that comes in the set... The box that i had did not state that the 2 sets were french tipped so that was not what i had experienced...Once again, im sorry that it didnt work well for you and hope that you find a set that works better! xx

  • @Pixijasmine oh okay thanks for telling me because I was thinkn about doin mine.

  • @BellyDancerArena Hi! hmm, it is probably because there was not an equal 50/50 percentage between the gel and the activator. If you plan to try the kit again, build a double layer instead. So as in - first put the gel, then the activator. Let dry. Then do another layer of gel and another layer of activator. Let dry. See if it crumbles after...If it still does, then maybe go for a spray activator for equal distribution :) good luck! xx

  • Hi Pixijasmine! Thanks a lot for this tutorial. I have went for the product after I've watched your video... I was desperately looking for a way of giving more resistance to my nails. But I've got a problem: at the second day the gel started to crumble away in the edge of my nails and falling appart. Any recomendation? Maybe it is retaled to tha fact that wen I applied the gel it did not get a soft surface but like with little hollows? Please help.

    All best wishes of success.

  • @CrazzyNailzz81 the activator does work but you really need to be careful and extra sure that you are using a 50/50 blend otherwise it will not dry. That is the reason why i did go for the spray activator as it gives the exact amount needed. Good luck! :)
