Evgeni Malkin Goal [10-20-09]

Wooo!!! Student Rush = awesome! I got this seat in the 2nd row behind the glass on the side the Pens shoot twice...for just 20 dollars! And I got a free hat in line and a box of pizza too. Not sure how many more times I'm going to be inside the Mellon arena but this was certainly a great game to go to.

I tried to record some stuff but it was hard because I was usually more caught up in the game. But I did get Geno's goal here on the powerplay. Sorry if it doesn't turn out too well. I know the audio especially doesn't handle the loud noises well.

By the way, I didn't make the "Oh oh eww" sound before he scored, I think that was someone next to me. Just in case you were wondering. :p

Dude you are so lucky! I wish I could be in the Igloo at least once more. A life long Pens fan and I've seen them play on the road more times then home, although I must say the Winter Classic against Buffalo was one of the sickest things I've ever been to!

Hoping to get to Mellon one more time.  I've got some leave time built up so I'm going to use it around Christmas for either the Devils or Sens game.

They are actually enforcing their "5 hour before game" rule...so no one was allowed to wait there before 2pm. At about 1:50 everyone who was around the edges of the arena started creeping up and they let us in line at about 1:55.

oh wow i went to the one on the 7th we got there at about noon and were the 80th or so in line. student rush might be the best idea ever

Yeah I tried to go around noon and that's when I saw the sign on the door, no one in line, and some security guy told me to come back later. Was kind of surprised they did it that way because it was basically a mad rush to the door as it got close to 2pm.
