A really catchy Scepter 45 by a unknown group that should have been a big Top 40 hit.
Considering how danceable it is, I'm surprised the UK Northern Soul crowd hasn't discovered this 45.
Anyway enjoy listening, and check out more great rare and obscure oldies on 60's Jangle Radio on Live365.com

i tried breaking it on the northern soul scene several times back in the late 70s and through the 80s

OMG! I have been looking for this song for YEARS! Brings back lots of memories--one of those feel-good, carefree songs!! Thank YOU!!!
And it's not Jim Messina, it's Joe Messina.
Does any one know where I can get a copy of the lyrics? Thanks!

@anzonevis It was written by Joseph Lanza and Joe Messina, who also produced the record.

I had this 45 and loved it, played it till it wore out. I noticed it was co-written by J Messina...I wonder if Jim Messina...
