how come they don't have NASCAR races in Rockingham anymore?

I'm not sure if it was less people were coming or it was in a remote area away from somewhere close. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the only good thing nascar has done in a while is start racing at Kentucky! :D Kentucky is awesome!

@BMB5150 If it was because of dat * That then California 500 Wouldnt be in Nascar anymore either, its remote, as well infineon & THE Only nascar track that was raced every year in Wisconsin With golden bricks the Milwaukee mile!!

its BS, nascar is only about money now, not about good racing..... Hey lets take away both rockingham races and a darlington race and give Fontana another race so we can produce a boring ass race, but who cares we will make more money... Unfortunelty i wouldnt be suprised if Martinsville loses a race soon

It was attendance, but also the fact that there is another track in North Carolina didn't help.  They kept using the term "saturation of the market". Also, it's a 1-mile track, and NASCAR likes bigger tracks these days because they can fit more bullcrap inside the track.
