Recorded at the North American Comhaltas Convention in Parsippany, New Jersey in April 2004, Felix Dolan provides piano accompaniment for accordion player Billy McComiskey.

Billy plays two tunes of his own composition which he names after his two grandmothers "Nora Sweeney's" and "Elizabeth Cullen's".

  • Amazing hand work. I've tried to play like that but it's definitely not for everyone! Fantastic!

  • Aww He's soooo sad about his two wee Grannies! Saw Billy in Green fields of America @ Celtic connections '11. Only one word to describe him... Awesome!

  • Billy, what a pleasure to see you on the boob tube. Wonderful tunes.

  • Great stuff! It's a shame Felix Dolan is not playing a real piano.

  • da best!!!!

  • hmmmm Billy McComisky looks suspiciously a lot like Sean McComisky...hmmmmmmm

  • Felix may be the man, but Billy is The Man.

  • The person operating the camera does not seem to grasp that the truly interesting bits --- the bits that are in the final analysis actually worth lensing --- ARE THE HANDS of the musicians, NOT the faces. Otherwise, great stuff.

  • Good man Billy

    Great tunes as always.

  • He's good. I used to play with him and jim eagan in baltimore
