Hey man, when you film a video in 24p, capture it with Sony Vegas to 30fps basically, or 60i i guess, when you render as 24p, does that mean it converts it back to 24p with whatever pulldown you choose?

what do you mean by "24p time line"

The project settings in Vegas were set to 24p.

Man... the 60i -1/120 - 40% speed looks very smooth and beautiful. How could you achieve this. Is it some kind of plugin or something? I have the same video cam and Vegas. I tried but it didn't happen smooth like yours. Can you please explain how to do it or if there is a pattern you followed to do it and can you give me the link?
Thanks...

No plug-in just 60i with the shutter speed at 1/120. Then import it into vegas and take the velocity down to 40% with a velocity envelope or by holding down ctrl and dragging the clip down to 40%. That's all I did.
Also, I did have all of these on the same timeline when I made this video and I have since read that 30p can sometimes be hard to manage on the same timeline as 24p or something like that. So if I were to do this test again I would put these all on separate timelines.
