@pilotman750 i agree, however both cars suck for turning :) my mate drives a navara my father drives a defender, aaaand having grown up with a series 3 as a family car i know there's no better 4wd than a landie :D

@Mart1nT ok boys the thing that happened here was failure to line up a car on a track, the driver of the Defender would have gone up here as easily as the Navara, Had he lined his car properly to the track and not ended up against the wall multiple times, not a very good test. put the same driver in both cars and then you'll see a real winner...

Please don't compare these two cars. Get a competent driver in each one and you will see. Dont even think a navara would come close. If you disagree then you have no clue.

Never judge an awesome vehicle by it's driver.... The Defender is a better off road vehicle, the Navara comes nowhere in the 4x4 hall of fame.... Navaras aren't expensive either, it's not a case of not being able to afford one, it's a case of not wanting one!

In fairness the trail wasn't actually difficult, just driver error or misjudgement initially. My Vitara is very capable but not in the same league as some of the Defenders at the pay and play days
