No I haven't taken any voice lessons or anything like that..and for the music, I have a lot of help from my dad..he's the one that play music really well.

Sorry I didn't listen to the full song, but I did read all the lyrics, so that's what I'll comment on. I believe you tried to tell a story, but I think you chose the "easy way". Too classic, (the story of a guy lying, replacing the girl without caring about it...), too repetitive a little also. It seems like you have all the potential to write great lyrics, just don't be afraid to put all your heart and souls in it, instead of just part of it. Hope this help ;-)

To many "and" words in the lyrics - remove a few and it will flow better - never use "but" in lyrics unless it is part of catch phrase - easy on the echo for the vocals - aside from that, nice post.
