  • @metroplex163 It's actually one of John Entwistle's (of The Who) custom-made "Fenderbirds". JE had a couple of those built since he didn't like the neck on his Thunderbird.

  • @MythMan74 Neil was calling the south racist, he asked the south when we would pay the blacks back for slavery commited 150 years ago lol

We took offense and Skynyrd made this song in protest.

Neil and Ronnie were buds though mostly just for fun ;)

  • @MythMan74 It was a FRIENDLY fight. They were just playing like cats. They respected each other very much.

  • What was the issue that Neil Young had with Alabama? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

  • @metroplex163 John Entwhistle used to make them, they called them something funny. John used to like the sound from the thunderbirds, but preferred the fender neck, he may have got the idea from him (or the other way around, I didn't check the dates)

  • yesssss

  • Anybody notice the thunderbird with a P-bass head

  • @388Bandit Excuse me, I thought you were talking about Ronnie Van Zandt. Wallace? Redneck isn't a strong enough derogative for him.

  • @TheEmilio16

We had "Watergate" with Nixon, and in 1972 assassination attempt left Wallace paralyzed.

  • they really should start airing old episodes of the whistle test
