  • @Dreadzedan If the Haldex system in a supercar is anything like the system found in an A3 or a Golf, i'd imagine that for the most part the lambo & bugatti drive the rear wheels most of the time (like a proper car should do) but simply clutches in the front wheels when needed. Thats great on tarmac on a RWD/4wd car like a lambo, Not so good on a FWD/4wd Golf.

But on slippery conditions, like snow, u really want a permanently 4wd system. Not one that only works when u loose traction.

  • @Dreadzedan I've driven both haldex and Torsen(Audi s3 & S2). But personally i like the torsen better,it drives nicer, it's old technology and want break down. Guess i'm bit of a oldschool quattrofan;-) The haldex system in a lambo or bugatti is a bit diffirent i think then in a A/S3? S3 drives frontwheel only and when it start to loose traction the wheels in the back will help. Don't think this is the case in the bugatti or lambo...And yes the driver sucks.

  • Haldex system in Bugatti Veyron and Aventoador = all other awd systems owned. nothing torsen or other awd system is as fast as those beast or even close.

  • @MGazT

Haldex is used in Bugatti Veyron Lamborghini Aventador etc. how can it suck. when it is being used by hypercars far above the level of any of the cars that use torsen.

  • @MrNickS2 dun need it just a non idiot a3 driver. haldex is used in hypercars such as the buggatti veyron and Lamborghini Aventador it is good.

  • HALDEX A3/golf/TT sucks.. TORSEN A6/A8/A7/A5 is better, but personally i'd rather have 50:50 4wd with difflock, like on my old coupe quattro.

btw, the driver in the audi sucks. lol

  • Bad driver vs. horrible driver. You both disappoint.

  • Let's test a real quattro(read TORSEN) against the subaru awd!

  • ok yes both cars have AWD. One is 50:50 all the time. other is front wheel bias. To save on gas milage anddrive train power loose. I will say the Subu AWD is better for racing. But...in bad road conditions. Haldex wins. And with better difs and haldex controler. dont forget. Audi has been doing AWD for a long time and doing it well. In the 80's they were banded in many motorsports for having to much of a technical advantage. Either way both cars are sexy.
