I lost my golden retriever in September 2011 to a large bleeding tumor in his nose. He was 3.5 years old.

Awesome information, thanks so much! It's so good that you're raising awareness to that these chemicals still take their toll even though we may not be using them ourselves. This is exactly what's been happening to us, from our neighbor spraying. I have been sick from it, and the symptoms are close enough to general flu symptoms that I'm sure many people assume they 'caught a bug' when they have actually been poisoned by these chemicals. My dog eats dog crap, how good is that for his immune system?

I scold him for that but he seems to think it's a tasty sausage treat or something like it.

I suppose that it saves me on the dog food bill since he is recycling which does seem to be part of the green movement these days but that's really gross.

I would bet the ratio of cancer in dogs verses humans is much higher,because of all those chemicals.I found out that peppermint oil works great for fleas and ticks,oregano oil has fix a bunch of skin conditions on my dogs .After spending thousands at the vet with no success.
