2011 MVGK Psalm 23

The Mt. Vernon GospelKnights competing at the 2011 Pathmark Gospel Choir Competitions at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY. GK performed 4 songs in 12 minutes; Walk In Jerusalem [VA State U], I Open My Mouth [VA State U/ Dexter Walker & Zion Movement], Psalm 23 [Dexter Walker & Zion Movement] and Release [Minister John W. Howard Jr. & the End Time Levites]. The well organized and well executed performance won a 3rd Place nod in the Open Division. The first two selections were inspired by VSU. The sound on the stage was awesome the mix in the house was not the same. Program Director: Carson Stapleton - Choir Director: D'Andre Grant
