Surfers for Autism is a nonprofit organization that offers kids with autism and related disorders the opportunity to surf. It is very safe and fun. Sometimes kids who are non-verbal break out of their shell. Even if it's just for a little while that, in itself, is beautiful. Zander went from being so afraid that he was shaking to almost standing on the board by himself. We will definitely be going to future events. His trainers were very patient and kind. They helped him have a good time in the water, which is a minor miracle. Thanks Surfers for Autism!!!
