I and my family actually had the [opportunity?] to be a part of this program as we landed in Eugene from the East Coast. For the most part and honestly, the program gave us exactly what we needed; space and time. Without it... well, we certainly would not have been able to survive in Eugene.
The homeless 'problem' is everywhere, sadly. However, First Place offers homeless families a chance... and that's all that anyone who truly wants out of their situation needs.
